How we handle information when you use MedWatcher.
The report navigator links to official reporting destinations; it is not a report submission form. Do not enter health information, patient identifiers, or incident details in search or the alert form.
Recent searches are saved in this browser's local storage. You can remove them by clearing this site's browser data. As you type, search text is sent to MedWatcher's own search-suggestion endpoint for processing. Submitted searches also appear in the results-page URL.
When live alerts are enabled, we store your email in encrypted form, your selected subscriptions, consent and confirmation times, and delivery status in Supabase. Resend processes your address and email content to deliver confirmation and recall emails. Confirm your email before alerts begin. Every alert includes an unsubscribe link. Unconfirmed requests are removed after seven days. In private previews, the form does not transmit or persist your address; closing the dialog clears it.
When enabled, MedWatcher uses Vercel Analytics for page-view counts and Vercel Speed Insights for website performance on general information pages. Performance collection stops after the first navigation within a page session. These tools are disabled in private previews. Device-specific, search, alert, confirmation, and unsubscribe pages are excluded, as are URLs with query parameters or fragments. We do not send form entries or custom medical-interest events to these tools. Vercel's handling of analytics data is described in its Privacy Policy (opens in a new tab).
We will update this notice when we change how MedWatcher handles personal information.
